Bahat Winery is a family boutique winery located in Kibbutz Ein Zivan in the northern Golan Heights.

 Ofer Bahat, an expert in fruit preservation and refrigeration, has dreamed for decades of producing his own wine. He embarked on his first winemaking adventure using the simplest means possible, in a warehouse near his home, with barrels, buckets, and equipment borrowed from friends. The grapes he used were of the finest quality – grapes from the northern Golan Heights, grown at an altitude of 1,000 meters, and known for their quality and taste throughout the world. After extensive experience and learning from the best in the field, Ofer decided to open the winery to the general public and share his great love of wine with the public.


 In recent years, Ofer has also begun producing arak inspired by his grandfather. The arak is produced in small quantities and is only sold at the winery. After some persuasion, we were only able to get our hands on a few bottles. While supplies last. Cheers
