Shira - Rosé Wine 2016 - Made from organic Malbec grapes grown in the winery's vineyards in the Golan Heights. The wine is produced for the Nob Winery at the Titura Winery, accompanied by a winemaker specializing in rosé wines. The winemaker comes especially during the harvest season from the Provence region of France, which is characterized by rosé wines with a floral and perfumed character that represent the region.
Nob Winery's "Shira" wine was pressed after a very short stay on the skins, and underwent a cold, controlled, and prolonged fermentation. This process gave the wine a light color, delicate and balanced acidity, lightness, aromaticity, and florality.
The wine is very suitable for drinking on its own or as an accompaniment to salads and cooked vegetarian dishes, fish and soft cheeses. It is recommended to drink at a temperature of 10-12 degrees.
Nov Organic Winery - For many years, Betzer Yankela cultivated his vineyard for the Golan Heights Wineries. Then in 2011, he joined forces with Eitan Rosenthal, a graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture and a graduate of Nir Shaham's wine courses at Sorek Winery. Together they decided to produce wine from Yankela's organic vineyard. The winery's wines are produced from clusters that are harvested in a selective and meticulous hand harvest.
The advantages of organic farming are first and foremost preserving the environment, a pleasant working environment for vineyard workers, but above all, providing healthy, high-quality produce to health-conscious consumers. In the southern Golan Heights. A wild region. Huge basalt rocks. Deep, steep stream channels. Rich black soil. These are the initial conditions that "make the wine" at the Nov Organic Winery. Combined with the heavy basalt soil and the experienced and dedicated hands of the winemakers in the Golan Heights - and this is a recipe for success.
